A real accountant reads this
Submissions don't go into a feedback queue to be counted and closed. A CPA or accountant
from our firm reviews the scenario you describe — the same people who wrote the packs in
the first place.
- A qualified person assesses it. Not an autoresponder, not a support script.
- They may come back with questions. Edge cases are usually edge cases because a detail matters, and the detail is usually missing from the first description.
- You get an updated packet. Where the scenario can be handled, we extend the pack to cover it and send you the revised version.
- Improvements flow to everyone. If your case is general enough to affect other users, the fix ships in the next release of that pack.
- Sometimes the answer is "get an accountant." If your situation genuinely needs professional judgment on your specific facts, they'll tell you that plainly rather than stretch a pack to cover it.
What this is, and isn't. A qualified accountant reviews your submission and
may send you a revised pack — but the deliverable is
an improved tool, not an opinion
on your facts. Submitting a case does not create an accountant–client relationship, does not
constitute tax, legal, or accounting advice for your situation, and does not make us
responsible for positions you take. We don't commit to a turnaround time, to being able to
address every case, or to responding at all. If you need advice on your own circumstances,
that's a separate professional engagement.
Full terms.
Don't send us sensitive data. No Social Security numbers, EINs, full
account numbers, logins, or client personal information. Describe the scenario generally
and redact identifying details first.
